The Sword's Blade Goes the Wrong Way, Mr. Artistic License

Last night was a night with El Pillows. As you can see, the club was top notch and the music was loud and fun. No opener (kind of sucked, I was hoping to find out about a band, but I'm happy with The Pillows), but The Pillows did play for two hours straight, so a happy boy was I?
Yes.
See the people throwing an arm up? That is the salute for a Pillows show. It was mad fun to stand in a group of people dancing and yelling and the lead singer is really funny. He is quite the front man.
A quick side note. Do you want to know why Japanese people are so skinny? it has nothing to do with the diet; they have no sweat glands. The place was hotter than a Thai mine shaft in August, but unless the person was playing in a band or dancing like they just learned how fun it is, there was no sweat stains, no persperation on a soul. I, however, was sweating like i was waiting for the call from the governor, and that was before I started dancing. But, hey, I expect it and it adds to the fun. It's one of those things that makes shows so special.
So, in summary: the show rocked, I love The Pillows, and fire codes are a laughable concept at Penny Lane 24.

And how many gaijin were there?
Only one other. And we fought to the death over the right to be the token cool gaijin. Sad to kill a man, but at least I have a new goblet.
what's a goblet?
Blaz you rock the coolest places. Bet you were tired as hell the next day. But seriously, who names their band "The Pillows" doesnt sound like something that would attract a following...but I'm happy you could see them, I know you were dying to.
A goblet? It's like a chalice.
